Filene's Basement
First opened in 1908, Filene's Basement of Boston is the country's oldest and most renowned off-price store, selling designer and brand name apparel at bargain prices. The flagship Downtown Crossing store will temporarily close at the end of August 2007 while the building undergoes extensive renovations. Filene's Basement will be back in the exact same spot in Downtown Crossing in spring of 2009. A second Filene's Basement is located in Back Bay on Boylston Street (there's also an entrance on Newbury Street). This new Basement looks and feels nothing like the original store, but the bargains are just at good. Shopping hours are Monday - Saturday 9:00AM to 9:00PM, and Sunday 11:00AM to 7:00PM.

Kittery Outlets
